When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you fill in and successfully send a contact form then one of the Exovatio administrators shall receive the email, unless it is blocked by spam or anti-virus services. No form contents is stored inside the Exovatio databases.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

The server log files are only on our server and is accessible by us the administration and upon request by the hosting company – Namecheap Ltd.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We minimize the use of third party add ons to the site, keep components updated and we employ ‘ssl’ to help secure our data and to help ensure safe usability of the site.
In case of breach the security hole will need to be identified, the site will then be restored from an earlier point, faulty components may be patched, disabled or replaced.
During the procedure the site may be put in a limited state. After immediate analyses and repairs are completed a notice will be placed informing visitors of the nature of the breach.
Any possible affected users will be informed via mail.
We receive (anonymized) page usage statistics and may publish works from external sources.
Exovatio doesn’t profile users. Minimal user preferences (to customize or limit script) may be stored in a cookie. These may be removed at any time without consequence.
We have no affiliations to any government or law enforcement agencies.
Comments are screened before they are published.
Unless forced by a court-ruling we will not handover any user data.
